Cookie Policy
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Mentis Services ("Mentis", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
It sets out exactly what is and is not stored on your device when you browse this site, and how to control it.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, tablet or mobile device when you visit a website. They enable websites to recognise your device, remember your preferences, improve your browsing experience and collect information about how the website is used.
Cookies may be placed by the website you are visiting, or by third-party providers whose services that website loads.
3. Cookies used by this website
This website sets no cookies. Not strictly necessary ones, not functional ones, not analytics or advertising ones. Nothing is written to your device as a cookie when you browse it.
This is a design decision rather than an oversight. Fonts, icons, stylesheets and scripts are all served from our own domain; the contact form is protected by a proof-of-work challenge that requires no tracking; and no analytics or advertising tag is installed. There is consequently nothing to consent to, and no cookie banner to dismiss.
Local storage
One single item is written to your browser's local storage. It is not a cookie, and it is never transmitted to our servers or to anyone else:
| Item | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
language |
Remembers the language you selected from the menu, so the site opens in it on your next visit. | Until you clear your browsing data |
Under the ePrivacy Directive, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested is exempt from prior consent. Choosing a display language is such a request. You can remove this item at any time by clearing your browsing data, and the site will simply fall back to the language of your URL.
4. Third-party services
No third-party service is contacted when you view a page of this site. Fonts, icons and scripts that were previously loaded from external providers are now served from our own domain, which means no external party receives your IP address or knows that you visited us.
The links to our LinkedIn and YouTube pages in the footer are ordinary hyperlinks. They contact those platforms only if you choose to click them, and your visit is then governed by their own policies rather than by this one.
Submitting the contact form sends your entry to our own programming interface, hosted at api.movsmart.eu. That domain is ours and falls under the same data controller — it is not a third party. No cookie is set there, and nothing travels to it but the fields you filled in.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Because this site places no cookies, there is nothing here for you to accept, refuse or configure.
You may also configure your web browser to block or delete cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality and performance of the website.
Information about managing cookies in the most common browsers is available on the support pages of the relevant browser providers.
Should we later add an analytics or advertising tool, this policy will be updated beforehand and your consent will be collected before any non-essential cookie is placed on your device.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, technology or the way we use cookies.
The latest version will always be published on this page together with its effective date.
